Airport funding committee meeting announcement:

Discussed potential funding opportunities

Members of the General Aviation community,

Aviation related businesses in Oregon cannot grow and expand without a sound aviation infrastructure. Oregon's GA system is at a crossroads.  Inadequate funding threatens to cripple our infrastructure as the Department of Aviation and municipal airport owners find themselves unable to meet the high cost of maintaining and improving our airports, and thus, businesses often consider locating elsewhere.

An Oregon Aviation Industries (ORAVI) committee will consider funding options at this committee meeting and create a strategy to promote achievable funding goals.

Come be part of this critical process, we need your insights and your contacts. GA cannot grow without a sound infrastructure, and how we fund our aviation system today will determine the face of GA in this state over the coming decades.

Thanks for coming. We're at a critical point for GA in Oregon, every year that we ignore this issue will make it more difficult to keep our system viable. We need to change our funding options now.

See you there and thanks for participating.
